Crazy Censorship…unbelievable!

I am one of the people that stand with Censorship…because without it a lot of people’s feelings….might get hurt…but I just can’t find a reason to censor this!…:

1942: Tweety Forced to Wear Clothes
Tweety Bird first appears in “A Tale of Two Kitties.” Animator Bob Clampett originally draws him without feathers but the Hays Office censorship bureau thinks the plucked bird is just a little too naked. So Clampett covers Tweety’s titillating flesh with yellow plumage. (Note: Clampett doesn’t let this pass quietly, though. In the episode, a cat yells to his partner, “Give me the bird!” To which the other cat responds, “If the Hays Office would let me, I’d give him the bird, all right!”).

Bonus: The Turbulent Life of the TV Toilet

1957: Before it airs, CBS yanks the pilot episode of Leave It To Beaver because of its plot: Wally and the Beav mail-order a baby alligator and are forced to hide it in the tank of the family’s toilet. CBS finally decides the show can air, but only if all shots of the toilet seat are excised. The toilet tank is left unharmed, marking the first time a toilet (or half of one, anyway) appears on TV.

1971: A major breakthrough occurs as the toilet is finally allowed to perform its function. The first flush is heard, but not seen, on the first-season episode of All in the Family. TV’s first flusher is, of course, Archie Bunker.

1959: Advertisers Rewrite History
On the dramatic anthology series Playhouse 90, an episode titled “Judgment at Nuremberg” has all references to gas
chambers eliminated from its re-enactment of the Nazi trials. This is done at the behest of the show’s slightly sensitive sponsor, the American Gas Association.

1973: Jack Paar’s censors are proven right about the toilet’s power over The Tonight Show audience. In the era of gasoline shortages, Johnny Carson jokes about an imminent shortage of toilet paper. Across the country, panicked viewers go on a hoarding spree, emptying store shelves and forcing Carson to publicly apologize the next night.

1952: Lucy Gets Knocked Up
Despite Lucille Ball’s pregnancy during an entire season of I Love Lucy, the actual word “pregnant” isn’t allowed on air. Instead, the show uses phrases that seem equally informative but (somehow) less fraught with sin, such as “with child,” “having a baby,” and “expecting.”

1956: Elvis’ Pelvis Shoved Off Screen
Elvis’ first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show is seen by 60 million people (about 80 percent of America’s TV owners at the time). His hips, however, aren’t so lucky. After his cover of Little Richard’s “Ready Teddy” – complete with trademark gyrations – the camera switches to a close-up of his face as not to over-stimulate the American public. By the time he appears on the show for the third time (in January 1957), he’s only shown from the waist up.

…I am just too speechless to talk about this….I will just leave you to decide by yourself…this article was by Ian Lendler from Mental Floss Magazine :) ….hope you guys enjoyed it!!.

Interesting Stuff : TV Shows to watch online

Picture from estacey

I am a free stuff lover, since we are living in a world that’s full of stuff with expensive prices, its kind of awesome to just get something free every now and then and I’m a big fan of TV Shows not only the reality ones but also the Action, Romance, and Drama ones, away from the school pressure and everything its just really good to just lay back and watch a show online :) .

so here is a list that I got from askmen.com that’s really saving me time searching :)

Grey’s Anatomy

Where you can stream it: ABC.com
What’s available: Last four episodes

TV viewers have always thirsted for medical dramas, and risk-averse, unoriginal networks have been more than happy to meet that demand. Sometimes they flop (3 lbs, L.A. Doctors), while other times they are instant-hit dramas (ER, House). ABC definitely hit the mark with Grey’s Anatomy, which has become an incredibly popular hit. The show follows hot, young doctors in Seattle who deal with all the trials and tribulations that come along with being hot, young doctors in Seattle (we imagine that involves things like rain, having too much money, rooting for a cruddy baseball team, and having girls throw themselves at you).

It’s the most popular show around for a reason: it’s really good. But we understand that giving in to it in front of your girlfriend or wife involves also giving up a lot of your manhood, so stream it from ABC.com and watch it alone, under your sheets, just like you did with your comic books back in the day.

Survivor

Where you can stream it: CBS.com
What’s available: Full episodes of the entire season

This must be the 30th edition of the pioneering reality show, but it’s still one of the best. Various characters and buxom beauties are “stranded” in exotic locales and forced to lie, cheat and grow wispy beards all in the quest for $1 million and 15 minutes of fame.

On top of letting you keep up on missed episodes, CBS offers many bonuses on its streaming site — behind the scenes features, web-exclusive extras and a pause function.

The Daily Show

Where you can stream it: ComedyCentral.com
What’s available: Certain segments from each episode

Now the place most people to get their news from, this fake news show hosted by the immensely personable Jon Stewart is hilarious and informative all at once. The Daily Show stays fresh and relevant by skewering the inherent lunacy in the modern political arena. Granted, most politicians basically writes the jokes for them, but Stewart and his talented writers produce laugh-out-loud reports, all of which you can stream for free!

Plus, since The Daily Show  is on really late at night, streaming it helps you stay looking young and fresh, as well as informed.

Lost

Where you can stream it: ABC.com
What’s available: Last four episodes

If ever there was a show that was built for streaming, Lost is it. This serial drama about castaways stranded on a ridiculously strange island is complex and filled with more twists than a pretzel made by a drunken blind guy. But now you can use your computer to go back and try and piece together just what the flip is going on.

Keeping up with the convoluted back-stories, staying on top of the steamy love triangles or just spending a little more time reveling in the wonder that is Evangeline Lilly, there are still lots of reasons to stream the show even if it “lost” the plot long ago — pun intended.

Heroes

Where you can stream it: NBC.com
What’s available: Every single episode

NBC’s serial action/drama proved that superheroes don’t all come clad in spandex. It would be impossible to fully articulate the plot in this small space, but the basic premise revolves around ordinary people who discover they have extraordinary abilities — such as flying, seeing into the future, super-fast healing, etc. — and then unwittingly find themselves caught up in a race to save the world.

Amazing good guys with cool powers, devilish baddies, complex plotlines — it’s television done right. And streaming it lets you get caught up if you didn’t get hooked from the beginning. Or, if you have watched from the start, streaming it lets you go back and stare at the cheerleader… er, relive some of the series’ best moments.

So thanks again to askmen.com for collecting up those information for us :) ….hope you guys enjoy it :P .

Interesting News : X Files 2 project

The X Files TV Show “1993-2002″ and Movie “1999″ were and still are some of the best in both Movie and TV history of their genres, two FBI agents, Fox Mulder the believer and Dana Scully the skeptic investigate the strange and unexplained while hidden forces work to impede their efforts, I’ve been a great fan of the X Files since I was like 7 years old, loved the Aliens and the freaks through out the episodes, and I did love the conspiracies in the movie, so, I was really enthusiastic when I found out that there is an upcoming X Files 2, after about 9 years from the first one, I do think it might be a little late, and people had their enough share of “The truth is out there”, the sequel will be a completely stand-alone story, there are no “aliens” in this movie, which totally confused me since the X Files is all about “Aliens”,  no clue what the actual plot will be, but I’m hoping it’s still going to be hardcore science fiction, I and millions of X Files fans are waiting for that movie, it would be totally cool to just figure whats going on in it???…..

Interesting News : The View talky talky about B-Spears

And finally!!!…someone to prove the words I’ve said, in posts before, I said that Britney Spears should get out of the country, and I love it when I’m right, the ladies from the TV show “The View”, agree with me on two things, Dr. Phil is kind of a loser, even if they didn’t say it, they felt it :) , and the second thing that Britney Spears should go somewhere away from the “circus” as Joey Behar said, and since this is a teenagers blog, and we shouldn’t go through the whole gossip thing that’s going on around the internet, I will try to be a little more concentrated on the other topics that we cover, so thanks for reading guys, you are amazing, check out that video, because its just hilarious.

Losers List : Ellen DeGeneres

I always loved The Oprah show, its a great show with actually great news that people care about, but what bugs me is what the other shows are about, like for example : the Ellen DeGeneres show, I did love some episodes but still when I saw that Puppy Drama thing going o, I was just please, getting ratings by doing this is just plain stupid, if she already have read the rules of the rescue agency about adopting Iggy “the dog’s name”, wouldn’t she have knew that they were going to take it away from her hairdresser young daughter, that’s harsh on the little kid, some of her episodes also have no meaning, there was a lack of preparations obvious enough for anyone who sees it, Ellen is no better than Queen Latifa, who had her own show and not for too long, so its better for Ellen to try to concentrate more on having more interesting subjects, love her, but still that Puppy issue went too bad :) ……and I do think we have got a lot of TV Hosted shows now, we need less of those, and more educating stuff :) …and don’t get me wrong I love dogs and all the animals and stuff…
