Meet the Spartans…laughing out loud!

So its that time of the week when everybody is done reviewing all the movies in the Box Office…but I just like to take my time for a while…because statistically most of the people just read reviews before going to the cinema so I am reviewing it for those who are going to watch it this week :) ..

Basically, it’s all the best scenes from several well-known movies except with really lame jokes spliced in.

I can’t really blame the guy that wrote that review…because lets just face it..you can’t make fun of Spartans..because they are too manly to be made fun of..and beside that having Paris Hilton and Britney Spears impersonators just take all the fun away from any movie..I personally found that it wasn’t as good as Epic Movie….but it had the same base of thoughts…to just make a movie out of jokes…and between each joke there is like a second…which proves that they just try really hard to get the laugh out of us..I do think that both Epic Movies “considering Meet the Spartans is Epic Movie : 2″…can’t get to the standards of the 4 movies of Scary Movie..so…if you feel like you want to have a good laugh “maybe”…you can just go check out Meet the Spartans..I can’t say anything on the actors because I couldn’t tell if they were acting bad or the movie was too lame to actually have good acting in it :) … so Meet the Spartans had references to other movies such as : “Star Wars”..”Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi”.. “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys”..”You Got Served”Ugly Betty”… “Little Miss Sunshine” …and..” Spider-Man 3″…and it made fun of some other movies and TV-Shows such as : “American Idol: The Search for a Superstar”… “America’s Next Top Model” …. “Dancing with the Stars” …” Casino Royale”…”Happy Feet”…” 300″ ….” Stomp the Yard”..”Shrek the Third”..”Transformers”..and.. “The MTV Video Music Awards of 2007″…I don’t know what else to say except that they better not make Sacry Movie 5 the way they did the two Epic Movies..it just won’t be that good for any of us..:)..

Web Site review : oSkope visual search

Everybody looks for images on the internet when they are working on school stuff, work presentations, almost everything, because images are a very vital way to translate words into pictures, I had a History teacher about 3 years ago, he used to talk all the time, without letting us watch a historical movie, or even see an old newspaper, our lives where pretty much boring when we had him teaching us, and now I’m an expert in History, I still remember one of the lines he used to say :”and the army was BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH”…yes, I still remember that one :) , so I was looking for a website that helps me to find pictures in an interesting and cool way, so my hand landed on oSkope, which I consider one of the best image search engines, it gives you a selection of websites to look through them, flickr, youtube, amazon, ebay, yahoo! search, and it gives a lot of cool ways to view your search , my favorite one is that my search results look like a pile, because I’m messy by nature :) , of course it has its bad sides, it needs high speed internet connection so it can load fast, also its colors are pale, they need to make the website more lively by applying bright colors like orange, crimson red, or even pink even if its not my favorite, also it might give you some weird results for your search, but its still in my bookmarks, it should be in yours if you are interested in cool searching :) .

Must See Web Series : Sanctuary

Sanctuary is a fantasy web series, which premiered on May 14, 2007. Sanctuary stars Amanda Tapping , Robin Dunne, Emilie Ullerup and Christopher Heyerdahl, Each webisode (Web Episode) of Sanctuary follows the exploits of Dr. Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis) as she seeks out all manner of terrifying and monstrous creatures. She is aided in her quest by her reluctant protégé Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne, Dawson’s Creek, The Big Hit, Species 3) and her intrepid, if somewhat reckless daughter Ashley (Emile Ullerup, Battlestar Galactica). Together they will be drawn into a frightening and mysterious world populated by beings that defy explanation. -wiki-

I was looking for a torrent P2P program, and I found Azureus, which is more than awesome program, and while I was checking the channels, I found a channel called Sanctuary??…so at first I thought it was like a National Geographic monkey shelter or something, but a few days later I clicked on it, and downloaded the first episode of the series, Sanctuary has a fusing stunning visual effects, video game technology and cutting edge web design, Sanctuary takes the viewer into a thrilling world where science meets the supernatural and it is considered between the Graphics people, or as you call them Geeks, as a leap to a higher level of technology, and especially in the green screen technology (you know green screen, where actors stand and act in front of a green screen which is digitally replaced by graphics), the whole Series was shot in front of a green screen, from the start to the end, Dr. Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) seemed like a cool character, but Amanda needs to work more on being less fake, she got those moments where you be like Dude…I can’t believe I am watching this crap, but still it gets better :) , Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne) is a great actor who’s playing a character that really suits him, I consider him to be the most realistic actor in the Series, Ashley (Emile Ullerup) totally diggin’ her, her sarcasm is great, you can see it showing on the 3rd Episode, totally recommended to be watched, I love it, you should, or you would be considered weird :) …and another thing, don’t watch it at night before you sleep, watch it like an hour before you sleep, because nightmares sucks, and I got a crazy one too, so don’t say I didn’t warn you, cuz I just did :) .

must see movies : Alvin and the Chipmunks :)

I’ve always been a Justin Long fan, even his voice, he was amazing in live free or die hard, and he is even awesomer if this word exists in Alvin and the chipmunks, the story is based on the 1980’s cartoon series about a music group of chipmunks comprised of mischievous group leader Alvin (Justin Long); tall and quiet Simon (Matthew Grey); and chubby, impressionable Theodore (Jesse McCartney) even though I didn’t like Jesse at all, Dave (Jason Lee) was a really funny and cool character, having its ups and downs during the movie, I was expecting the movie to be really bad, but it turned out so so, still can’t believe the 142$ million dollars in the box office, but who knows, maybe it was just the children with some Christmas money leftover, still loved it, not as good as the Bee movie, but still considerable if I got bored and wanted to watch something funny.
